13th Annual Country Classic

The 13th Annual Country Classic was held on May 5, 2012. Congratulations to all of the participants and winners. We were very pleased to see all of the people come out to cheer on the runners and cyclists.
Please bring the whole family for an entire day of fun and entertainment. In addition to all the events for runners and cyclists, there are a variety of youth events, baby derby, free kids rides and games, elite bicycle races, the Turkey Hill Giant Cow, costumed characters, music and other entertainment. And don't forget, there will be plenty of Turkey Hill ice cream, iced tea and drinks by donation.

Babies 14 months and younger are invited to compete on the "Crawl Way". Grand prize winner will have a Giant Cow Birthday party. Check the "Youth Events" page for more details.

Meet our Beneficiary.
We welcome back the Lancaster Farmland Trust as our beneficiary partner. The Trust was founded in 1988 by local citizens concerned about our unique Lancaster County heritage and dedicated to protecting agriculture from the growing pressures of development. Since 1988, The Trust has preserved 360 farms and over 22,500 acres of the richest agricultural soils in the country located here in the heart of Lancaster County. Over the last few years, the Turkey Hill Country Classic has raised close to $57,000.00 for the Trust. Hope you will join us in supporting farmland preservation.
