Turkey Hill Dairy treats as teams compete for bragging rights.
During a November call-in contest on WGAL's "News 8 Football Friday," a lucky caller selected South Western High School in Hanover, Pa. as the school that to receive a Turkey Hill Dairy Ice Cream Party. So a few weeks later, Turkey Hill Dairy showed up at the school with ice cream for all of the students and faculty.
For some extra fun, Turkey Hill Dairy held an Ice Cream Stacking Contest. The goal was to see which team of four could stack the most ice cream on a cone within sixty seconds without the cone toppling over. And there was one extra catch - no hands allowed.
Four teams competed in the Ice Cream Stacking Contest, the Faculty Team, the Student Council Team, the Soccer Team, and the Key Club Team. During the exciting contest, tragedy struck moments before the buzzer sounded for two of the teams, sending ice cream to the floor.
When it was over, the Soccer Team was left standing tall with an ice cream stack of seven inches. The winning team was comprised of Paul Bingham, Van Hare, Nic Easton, and Steve Bone.
Congratulations - You've shown how well soccer players can work together as a team, and without using any hands.
