3rd shift Class II Production Mechanic Turkey Hill Dairy has an immediate opening for a 3rd shift Class II Production Mechanic (Four 10-hour days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.) Position Requirements: •Repairs and adjusts all types of production/manufacturing equipment related to ice cream production machines and fluid production and bottling lines. •Conducts preventative maintenance repairs on all machinery. •Recommends improvements to the machinery or process through communication with other mechanics or production associates. •Initiates purchase or work orders for parts, tools and machinery through our maintenance planning computer system. •Tests malfunctioning machinery using test equipment to diagnose any issues. •Assists in the installation and maintenance of hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic equipment such as pump, cylinders and solenoids. •Assists in troubleshooting and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning systems including compressors, pumps, meters, pneumatic and hydraulic controls and piping. •Assists in maintaining and trouble shooting of air handling systems, boiler and steam systems, chilled water systems, compressed air systems, AC/DC drives and filter changes. •Connects pipes using threaded, soldered brazed welded cement joints and hand tools. Makes weld repairs using MIG, TIG, STICK and gas. Position Qualifications: •Three (3) to Five (5) years experience in a manufacturing plant with experience in a good or beverage plant a strong plus •High School diploma or equivalency required. Two year Vo-tech or advanced technical and mechanical schooling a strong plus. •PLC training in Allen Bradley or Rockwell maintenance software a plus •Strong understanding of GMPs and safe work practices in an industrial setting •Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office programs a must •Strong communication (written, oral and team-based) a strong requirement •Must have own set of tools If interested in a position, please mail or e-mail your resume to the following:
