Printing A Finished Coloring Page

Why Coloring Pages Might Print Out Blank

Blank printouts of your coloring pages using Windows almost always result from one of two factors. The most likely problem is the color depth of your computer’s monitor. Monitors with 16-bit color depth often have problems printing with this plug-in.

To check what your color settings are, right-click on your Windows desktop and select “Properties.” In the “Display Properties” dialog box, select the tab called “Settings.” You’ll see a pull-down menu labeled “Colors.” If your color settings are at 16-bit, change it to “256 Colors,” “True Color (24 bit),” or “True Color (32 bit).” After making the selection, click the “Apply” button. Now try printing your coloring page with the new settings.

If this did not fix your problem, it may be due to out-of-date or flawed printer drivers. To update your printer drivers, visit the Web site of your printer’s manufacturer. here, you may find that your printer has new, updated printer drivers, which you can download. Follow the directions on their site to install a new driver and then try printing your coloring page again. You may need to restart you computer.    Top

Color Resolution

  • PC users:
For the best display results, set your display colors to “True Color (24 bit)” or “True Color (32 bit).” You can change your color setting by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting “Properties.” In the “Display Properties” dialog box, select the tab called “Settings.” In the color menu, select the appropriate color setting.

  • Macintosh users (System 8.0 and above):

Playing The Fun Fact Hunt

To get started, click on “View the Questions” on the Fun Fact Hunt page. A new window will pop up on your screen with some questions and a place to type in your answers. Keep the new window open with the questions on it while you search our Web site for the answers. We’ve made the window with the questions on it re-sizable for your convenience.

If you succeed in answering all 15 questions correctly, you’ll be entered for a chance to win a year’s supply of Turkey Hill Ice Cream. And remember, spelling counts!     Top

Playing With Our Jigsaw Puzzles

When two pieces fit together correctly, they’ll snap into place. If you have a sound card on your computer, you’ll hear them “click” together. When you move a piece, all the pieces connected to it will move. If you try to drag a puzzle piece off the playing canvas, the piece will be forced back onto the canvas so that you don’t lose any pieces.     Top

Looking For Hidden Objects In Our Find Bo Game

After you find Bo three times in a scene, or while you’re looking for her, you can also look for other objects hidden in the scene. If you wish, use the checkboxes to help you remember whether you found them all. Clicking on any of these objects in the scene will not update the checkboxes.     Top
