Turkey Hill Cow took a new look on tour.
The larger-than-life Turkey Hill Cow took a brand new look on an extended tour of cities large and small along the East Coast.
In what could be the largest personal makeover in history, the 13½-foot-tall, 2,000-pound bovine shed her basic black Holstein spots for a colorful mural of the rolling hills of her Lancaster County home. Her new wardrobe, which celebrated the valuable contributions of this nation's farmers, was seen by millions as she made personal appearances at parades, schools, and charitable events during her travels.
Since 1967, the giant Turkey Hill Cow has been roaming our nation's highways as Turkey Hill Dairy's ambassador to ice cream and iced tea lovers everywhere.
