| A Cohoes, New York resident turns ice cream purchase into a trip to Yankee Stadium and dinner with a Yankees legend. How much would you pay for field level seats at a Yankees game and dinner for four with a Yankees legend? For Cohoes, N.Y. resident Lorie Durrant, that dream costs less than five dollars.
"I would never have guessed when I bought that ice cream that one day I'd be having dinner with a Yankees legend," said Durrant. "Joe was a lot of fun and had a lot of great stories to tell. As a Yankees fan, it was an amazing experience. I wouldn't trade it for anything." Throughout the pre-game dinner, Pepitone signed autographs for the group and recounted his days power-hitting first baseman and outfielder with the Yankees from 1962 through 1969.
