Peppermint Stick Ice Cream Cake

1 package of Oreo cookies, finely crushed
1 stick of butter
Turkey Hill Peppermint Stick Limited Edition Premium Ice Cream
1 can of whipped cream
Chocolate sauce or hot fudge, not heated
Crushed peppermint sticks

Directions
NOTE: You will need a spring form pan. If you don't have a teflon pan, lightly coat the pan with a little bit of butter on the bottom and sides.

  1. Take ice cream out of freezer to soften
  2. Finely crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor.
  3. Melt 1 stick of butter and blend with the crushed Oreos; mix well so all of the cookie crumbs are coated.
  4. Take 1/2 of the cookie crumbs and press firmly into a spring form pan. Place in freezer to chill for 10 minutes.
  5. Spread 1/2 of the softened ice cream over the Oreo cookies. Freeze for 20 minutes.
  6. Spread the rest of the buttery cookie crumbs over the ice cream and lightly press down. Drizzle chocolate sauce/unheated hot fudge over this and freeze for 10 minutes.
  7. Spread the rest of the softened ice cream in the pan and freeze for 1 hour.
  8. Spray whipped cream on top, and spread to even out. Drizzle chocolate sauce/unheated hot fudge, and sprinkle with peppermint stick pieces.
  9. Cover with foil. Freeze for 3 hours or until you are ready to serve. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting, and enjoy!
