LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (January 3, 2017) — With so much happening at the Pennsylvania Farm Show (January 7-14), it's not easy to make a splash — unless you're the proud owner of a Supreme Champion bull. Turkey Hill Dairy has been part of the Farm Show for over 20 years, and will be making its own splash at its sampling booth in the Weis Exposition Hall, along with some help from its own Giant Cow and the launch of Turkey Hill Nation.
A CENTURIES-OLD FARMERS' RECIPE
Among the attractions planned by Turkey Hill are free samples of All Natural Ice Cream and its new Haymakers teas, punches, and ciders. The Haymakers line of thirst-quenching drinks is inspired by a centuries-old farmers' recipe called switchel, which was created by farmers to quench thirst during the hottest days of the summer.
The Dairy will also be offering samples of its All Natural Ice Cream lineup, which was expanded in 2016 and will add more new flavors in 2017.
SHOW US YOUR FAVORITE FARM SHOW TRADITIONS
Turkey Hill is also encouraging visitors to show off their favorite Farm Show traditions by snapping and sharing photos on social media using the hashtag #THFarmShow. The Dairy has also created a Farm Show-specific Snapchat filter that fans can use to add some personality to their snaps at the show.
From milkshakes and potato doughnuts to the butter sculpture and getting up-close-and-personal with the animals, all photos are welcome, and Turkey Hill will choose several at random to win some free ice cream and iced tea.
A NATION FOR TURKEY HILL FANS
Turkey Hill's booth will also be showcasing the Dairy's newest fan-focused club, the Turkey Hill Nation. The Nation, launched in December, is free to sign-up and is an online website (www.TurkeyHillNation.com) for Turkey Hill's most passionate fans to come together and enjoy all things Turkey Hill. At the Farm Show, visitors will have an opportunity to browse the Nation website and learn more about what the Nation has to offer.
